Just wanted to say "Hi" from Seattle. Precious few Cock Robin fans over here - in fact I have yet to meet a person who has heard about the band. A shame, really! I wonder what it is that Cock Robin fans have in common - in my high school years (in Germany) there were 3 of us.

I just stumbled across the new album through the Wikipedia entry (another question answered by what is undoubtedly the most important development since the internet itself!) - ok, so I am a little behind. Then another two weeks to have it shipped from Amsterdam.

PK's songwriting never ceases to amaze me. Just when I heard Anna launch into the childlike refrain of "I don't want to save the world" and I start to think that they abandoned real music for Euro-pop like "Everything But the Girl did", I get assaulted by the main riff - ahh, that was nice. A long ways from Kansas indeed. I'll have to use that in a memo sometime soon.

With two kids of my own, I would also like to add a quick "congratulations Anna!". The hardest thing you will ever do, and the most rewarding.

Hey Galahad - see that you are a Mike Oldfield fan - that's funny, I have every album, as does another CR fan I know. Go Mike!
