| Welcome to you Lise... Were you the keyboardist on their 1990 Tour? I thought you were great: are you still in the music business? |

Hello, Lise, awesome to have you here !
I would love to hear stories from your experience. Like many people, I still often watch the video of the Grand Rex concert and really enjoy your performance. _________________

You mean the concert where they didn't mike my accordian properly for the encore, Biggest Fool of All, and there I was, wailing away emotionally with the lead lines of the song, and no one could hear them??!!! Arghhh!
I should probably get in touch with Anna or Peter before I start spilling road stories -- nothing dramatic, but you know. There are some fun stories, they're a great gang. |

It's is a very great honor and an immense pleasure to welcome you here, Lise. As a musician of the band you must have some good memories to share with us and that fills with enthusiasm me enormously. Moreover you appear in a cult video for everyone here cause it's their only official live stuff to date (in Paris !). By the way you were not only keybordist on this tour but also on backing vocals and as an accordionist ! Could you tell us how you came to join them and how many shows did you perform with Cock Robin ? _________________ I used to be schyzophrenic but we're ok now. |

Cult video -- !!wow!! -- my 7-year-old is bored with it. He he.
Anna originally discovered me doing my solo act in a club in L.A. She felt that my playing was the closest to Peter's playing that she had heard. I went through a formal audition, against many very good keyboardists. I had been working as a studio singer/keyboardist, doing backup on commercials as well as albums. I was already a huge fan of Cock Robin, so being chosen to play with them was amazing.
We did tons of shows in Europe; one in Los Angeles here in the states. We were scheduled to return and tour Europe again in the following September, but the band suddenly broke up. I was devastated --- not just for myself but for the band -- they were just getting better and better.
I just have to get my hands on the new album -- reviews, so far? |

| It's GREAT to have you here! I've been a HUGE fan ever since I first heard/saw Cock Robin on Mtv back in 1985. We flew all the way from Michigan to California to see the band perform this past May at The Coach House in San Juan Capistrano. It was an Awesome show and a dream come true for me. Does anyone know how I could get a copy of the live video? I have been searching and searching. The new disc "I Don't Want To Save The World" gets played every day either in my car or my mp3 player! Lise, I have some pics from the May show at my band web site.. www.myspace.com/invisiblelisa as well as a live version of "Just Around The Corner" from the show as well. |

Oh my God... If you knew how much time I've spent wondering why this tour had been canceled... I thought the record company had fired the band or something like that. That and the split-up, I was confused and devastated... I remember saying goodbye at the end of the Saint-Etienne show, convinced I would get to see all of you again in September... That was so sad. |

Thank you all so much! You are too kind!
It truly was one of the high points in my life, it was a pleasure to play with such good musicians. Anna & Peter are both excellent and inspired musicians.
A few years ago Anna put out a stunning solo album, "Djinn in the Bush", that she recorded with Clive in Joshua Tree. It never got picked up, which was a tragedy, as it was some of the most interesting and beautiful work she's done. I wore out my copy of it. Maybe it will see the light of day now....
I have quite a few road pics from the 1990 tour that I will scan and put on the board. Where should I post them? |

Hi Lise,
Is that the same or from the same disc as Anna's solo album "Eat Life"? _________________ " I Look For Perfection, Inside Of This Wreck" |
