Hi there,

I decided to post this message here after watching the thrilling vintage footage of CR videos and live performances from the 80's on YouTube. Most of thse are new to me, I had not seen the Alabama Hall concerts or those live performances by the band with J.J. Goldman from 1986 in France before now.

What a fantastic band live. Let's hope they come back on tour in 2007 again. Growing up in Ireland as a teenager in the 80's, the only exposure to CR was the radio and staying up half the night waiting for the European Chart Countdown to catch a glimpse of the band live or maybe a video.

The band had 2 Top 20 hits in Ireland, "Promise" peaking at 10. I don't know why CBS/Sony didn't push them more at the time in Ireland/UK, but for whatever reason, continental Europe got the lion's share.

Anyway, this post is just to thank CR Fans Around The World for exposing me and I'm sure many others to the wonder years of a wonderful band.

Hi Galahad (It's Pat Kelly here - we are "friends" over at myspace...Smile) and Bruno, thanks so much for the link. Do you know what I would cut off my right arm for? - An audio recording, mp3 of some or all of those live tracks. "Every Moment" is so much better live, in my opinion. Still love the original.
