Hello Flavia,
The journalist is asking if their reunion is as pleasant as some old lovers that meet again, and Anna answered, "No it's more like two old friends".
Then, the journalist is saying that the action of time is a big advantage, because all failings/faults are forgotten, what makes Anna to laugh.
