Dites-donc, ça a pas l'air d'être vraiment l'enthousiasme au niveau des textes des chansons du nouvel album: mes derniers messages n'ont pas véritablement reçus l'aide et les réponses que j'attendais : suis-je le seul interessé à transcrire les textes des nouvelles chansons ??!... Shocked
Ou bien quelqu'un va-t-il se dévouer et m'aider un peu (Jean-Paul, ph59, Reine Zabo, Conundrum... où êtes-vous donc passé???) Wink Bref, j'aurais besoin d'un peu d'aide pour la suivante car il y a carrément tout un segment que je ne comprends pas... A vos CDs! Pareil que l'autre, j'ai mis en rouge les passages un peu douteux

Ah! C'est beaucoup mieux! Very Happy Merci pour votre aide et désolé d'avoir été un peu brusque, j'espère que je n'ai froissé personne... Mais comprenez ma frustration de ne voir personne répondre à mes messages, surtout que c'est comme vous l'imaginez, pas mal de boulot.

Bref merci pour vos suggestions. Pour 'Chinese herb', c'est une expression utilisée dans la langue anglaise comme 'poupée russe' ou 'yaourt bulgare' donc je pense que c'est bel et bien ce qu'il dit. En plus il y a la notion de mélange, comme dans une recette, que Peter évoque plus tard dans le couplet en parlant d'Anna (elle est moitié Chinoise / moitié Italienne) puisque je pense que la chanson est à son sujet.

Merci pour Far and beyond what I knew, ça me semble plus approprié. Je change cette ligne tout de suite. Pour les autres suggestions, j'ai réécouté la chanson et je pense pas vraiment que ce soit ce que vous avancez mais merci quand même pour votre aide, ça me donne une autre perspective sur certaines phrases, ce qui aide beaucoup. Encore une fois, je suis ouvert à toutes suggestions et c'est en coopérant tous ensemble que l'on pourra trouver une version qui se rapproche le plus de la bonne.

Bon je vais encore travailler dessus, et vais entamer ensuite The Valley Below. Merci encore pour vos suggestions.

Merci Crom pour tes suggestions. Par souci d'efficacité et de gain de place, pourrais-tu en revanche utiliser le bouton "Citer" situé en haut à droite des messages, te permettant ainsi de ne mettre dans ton message que la partie à modifier Wink

Je crois bien que ce que tu suggères est tout à fait valable, la seule chose qui me chiffonne est l'emploi de 'works' au pluriel dans ce contexte là... Par contre, "Have shifted a gear" me semble plus approprié (c'est ce que j'avais mis dans un premier temps) je vais donc insérer ta proposition dans le texte initial Razz

Un grand merci à toi Regis. Les paroles de cet album sont encore introuvables sur le net. On dirait que personne ne s'intéresse au dernier album de CR!

Tu as fait un sacré boulot et à l'écoute, tout me parait correct, sauf la premiere phrase de la partie encore incertaine. Voila ce que j'entends :

"???" est tres dur a definir mais je suis sur que ce n'est pas "works".
Au debut, je croyais entendre "lives" ou "eyes" mais je pencherais plutot pour "rhymes". Peut-être qu'il faut remettre en question "the plans".
En tout cas, les 2 phrases suivantes me paraissent parfaites.

Je vais lire tes autres transcriptions...

exact ! c'est pour ça que c'est ma chanson préférée. Je veux dire que c'est un vrai duo, avec un dialogue entre les deux chanteurs qui est aussi le dialogue d'un "couple" avec un passé commun, toute cette expérience musicale partagée, et le fait de se retrouver musicalement après des années. Cette chanson raconte tout ça, c'est pourquoi je la trouve particulièrement émouvante, au-delà de sa mélodie qui est super belle.
